How to Know Which Spiritual Practices Are Truly Right for You
When less becomes more on your spiritual journey
You don’t need every spiritual tool or practice to grow. The ones meant for you will feel alive, nourishing, and natural. Here’s a way to listen inward and trust what your soul is guiding you toward.
Do you ever feel overwhelmed by all the spiritual practices out there? Meditation, breathwork, sound baths, journaling, cold plunges, chanting, yoga… it can feel like if you’re not doing them all, you’re somehow falling behind on your journey.
I’ve been there. For a long time, I collected practices like tools in a toolbox—thinking if I just had the right one, everything in life would finally click into place. The problem was, instead of feeling more aligned, I often felt scattered and guilty.
✨ The truth is: you don’t need all the tools. You only need the ones that actually resonate with your soul.
Spiritual curiosity is beautiful, but it also opens us up to so many voices and teachers that it can be hard to hear our own inner wisdom. And when the outside noise gets too loud, spirituality can start to feel like another checklist instead of a path of presence.
💫 The practices that are right for you leave you with a sense of peace. They call you back naturally, without guilt or pressure. They feel nourishing, like your soul whispering, “Yes, this.”
On the other hand, if you’re dragging yourself through something because you think you should, it’s probably not yours right now.
When I get confused, I pause and ask myself:
Does this bring me closer to love?
Am I choosing this because it feels alive inside me, or because I’m comparing myself to others?
If I stripped away all the noise, what would feel exciting and nourishing right now?
🌱 Keep it simple. Choose one practice and let yourself go deeper with it for a while. A few months of consistency gives it the space to show you what it truly offers. When it no longer feels alive, let it go with gratitude🙏. Bless it for what it gave you and release it without guilt.
If you’re craving some guidance in creating that kind of sustainable rhythm, my course Live a More Balanced Life was designed exactly for this. It’s not about doing more — it’s about learning how to choose the practices and rhythms that bring you back to yourself.
✨ Spirituality is meant to free you, not weigh you down. Trust yourself. You already know the way. 💜
Trust. Be Free. Be You.

This is definitely my truth! After a devastating relationship with a terrible ending I couldn’t even touch my tarot and oracle decks. Just recently I felt them calling me back and the cards came flying out and really felt like a welcome back hug. They talked about divine communication and other things I needed to see to feel again ♥️
Although my practice uses spirituality, I deal with traumatized clients and it is vital to actually do the work of diving into the unconscious to heal the trauma pathology created. Especially if in early childhood. The spiritual component is huge. Because my process creates Peace by healing the unconscious trauma pathology, enabling healing and joyful authentic existence. Nice article! The light has always been with me, as I write in my book. It's spiritual, not religious. For me at least.
